            THE PEOPLE OF FAITH

 Palestine has a long and vast history.Throughout  the ages, Palestine has become a land of many cultures,realms and kingdoms.Being influenced by the rich culture and civilization palestine.Over the period of time the realms rose and fell,wars were waged.Also, religions founded. People lived,moved,mixed and died out.We can say that history was happening.After the defeat of Mamluks' the Ottomans’ had ruled the holy land. Jerusalem held a significant place in Ottoman history because of its spiritual and religious consequences.In 1887,Palestine was divided into three parts by Ottomans,which are Sanjaks (Jerusalem),Nablus and Acre.In this state, the civilians were stable and peaceful. Towards the end of the Ottoman Empire,When the European Style Nationalism came,it was weakening the Ottoman State.It was the final few decades when Theodor who was an Austro-Hungarian Jewish Journalist and politician was planning for a new political movement that would change Palestine’s history forever.In 1897,the first Zionist Congress held.The motto of this program was establishing a Jewish state in Palestine.Then the Zionism, setter colonial happened ,which was a movement of the Jew.The Jews were seeking to build a new society.That is where the issue started. Because Palestine was already inhabited.Then,the question is what to do with the native Palestinian Arabs? By the ethnic cleansing of Palestine,in 1948 the state of Israel was officially established.

From 1948 to 2023,the wars never stop.Palestinians are fighting for their land.They are always harassed by the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) and the government.They are not free.Not at all.

On 7th October,2023 Hamas which is a Palestinian Military Organization ,they broke down the large parts of Gaza security fence,also fired rockets toward Israel and so on.After this incident, Israel announced war against Hamas.They  saying that they defending them from Hamas but the fact is they are bombing on refugee camps,hospitals,schools and innocent civilians.It is like a war against the children.I have seen a father is holding his son’s leg ,he could not even  find his child’s body.I have seen a mother trying to recognise her baby girl by her hair color from the dead bodies. In Gaza ,ice cream tracks are full of dead bodies. The air of Gaza is full with the smell of blood.This is a genocide. But the fact is we are silent.

On 8th October,  the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)  held a closed-door meeting for 90 minutes on the conflict but that meeting ended without any solution. 

But this meeting wasn't helpful for the Palestinian people as Israel won't stop the war. Though the US, Germany, and countries like India, France, and Australia support Israel and the genocides in Gaza, people all around the world support Palestine no matter if their country or not. The US made it clear that they would support the Israeli government and its people. On the other hand, France with ups and downs, first they said they would support Israel no matter what but after a few days France was among the few Western countries who voted Yes to ensure a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

On the 7th of October, Israel's land, sea and air damaged the Gaza Strip by attacking continuous airstrikes, which triggered Hamas borders and brought huge damage to Palestinians. After that, Israel imposed a total blockade of the Gaza Strip which means food, fuel, and electricity are prohibited from entering the Gaza Strip. Due to the shortage of electricity and other services, it is still quite impossible to operate hospitals. On 27th October, humanitarian aid to be sent to northern Gaza was met with opposition by Israel. Therefore, if it was decided that providing such aid would be "lifesaving" for those in need, UN workers would have to put their own lives in danger. Due to the shortage of fuel, Gaza no longer had clean drinking water. As a result, residents were drinking seawater. On 16th November, the U.N. Palestinian Refugee Agency (UNRWA) reported that due to the lack of 70% of the people in southern Gaza had no access to clean water. The fighting caused multiple humanitarian disasters for Gaza's hospital system. For the first two weeks of the battle, hospitals were forced to rely on backup generators due to fuel shortages brought on by Israel's attack. Not only that but also Israel bombed the last bakeries that were hope for Palestinians. 

 

On 27th October, Gaza's communication went through a total blackout as one of its communication towers was destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. As a result, Gaza became totally disconnected from the whole world. The main reason behind this blackout was to cover Israeli war crimes as ground invasion. As a result, no media could connect with Palestinians and misinformation started flowing outside. Many journalists try to talk about what is actually happening in Palestine, and how Israeli forces are only attacking children. Not only that many journalists died while covering the current state of Palestine. On the other hand, some international media systems support misinformation about Palestine and they don't even proofread before publishing the news. Moreover, in many social media, people stand with Palestinians using the #FreePalestine. Also, many countries held concerts for Palestine to support them by collecting funds.

The total death toll in Gaza has exceeded 15,000+ in the last one and a half months.More than 6,000 children and 4,000 women killed. Thousands of women are risking their lives to give birth and having C-sections.The people are facing widespread hunger.They do not have the access to drinking water.Day by day situations are getting worse.We cannot even think what they are facing.Internationally, Israel is trying to spread a lot of proganga about Gaza’s situation. The fact that attracted me the most is their faith.They lost everything but they are relying on ALLAH.May the Almighty help them.Hutts of for the people of Palestine.We failed you,dear..
